Time Isn’t the Enemy. Dysfunction Is.

Imagine if your Pilates instructor told you the key to a youthful body was to lock your hips and neck in place and never move them. You’d probably think she was crazy. And you’d be right.

Movement is fundamental. Even a patient in a coma gets physical therapy: muscles are moved, circulation flows, and function is preserved. The same principle applies to your face.

And yet, we’re told the opposite… as if the face exists separately from the body.  Newsflash…It doesn’t.

The powers that be tell us that a youthful appearance is maintained by immobilizing expression.

Imagine how this must be impacting relationships when 55% of our communication comes from body language and facial expressions.

Youthful function demands movement: muscles, fascia, ligaments, nerves, skin, fat, blood, lymph, and tendons. If any of it is restricted, function suffers.  Stagnation is dysfunction. Dysfunction is aging.

Body Patterns, Face Patterns - What’s tight, stuck, or stressed inside shows up outside.

‍ Pain in the body often imprints itself on the face in predictable locations and recognizable patterns. It has a distinct structural look; nothing in or on the body is random.

‍ Diagonal creases across a specific location on one or both ears are frequently associated with chronic nervous system strain and blood pressure imbalance.

‍ Lines and wrinkles aren’t random; they are functional reflections. And they can go away naturally, once the root cause has been resolved.

‍ Some lines are a reflection of our lifestyle, experiences, and environment, while others are directly linked to emotions and/or unresolved emotional trauma.  It’s like a secret code.

‍Your skin health is a direct reflection of your story, as unique as your fingerprints…and the main reason cookie cutter skin care systems and generic protocols might help your BFF but seem to make your concerns worse.

‍For true skin correction and internal balancing, we must address the patterns that are being communicated via your face and body.  Once we give the body what it’s asking for, change can seem almost magical.
